Wellness Natural Anxiety & Depression Relief Dosage Suggestions

The suggested use for Wholesome Wellness Natural Anxiety & Depression Relief is to take 2 capsules in the morning or the evening, preferably with food. No more than 2 capsules should be taken per day.

The manufacturer claims that the dosage of each herb included in the formula has been scientifically proven to be effective. However, not only has the manufacturer not provided any scientific evidence to back up this statement, but it is also not true.

Using St. John’s Wort as an example, there have been some clinical trials in adults that have found it may help with depression when 300 mg of the herb is taken three times daily for up to 6 months, followed by a lower maintenance dose of between 300 – 600 mg daily. That said, the dosage of St. John’s Wort in this supplement is only 200 mg per daily serving, which is far less than the daily 900 mg taken by the adults in the trial.

Furthermore, it should be noted that while many of the herbs in this formula have shown potential to aid with mood support, stress, anxiety and/or depression, these results were not consistent among all participants in trials, with the ingredients having no effect or ill effects on some people. Additionally, it is not known what long-term effects these herbs may have.
